Fat loss that keeps your strength
Lose fat. Keep your strength.
DeficitCoach sets a calorie and protein target, reads your weekly trend instead of your daily weigh-in, and plans resistance training that protects the muscle you’ve built.
- Weekly trend, not daily noise
- Strength retention tracked
- Small, data-driven adjustments
Your trend
Sample dataMost diets measure the wrong thing.
- Daily weigh-ins swing with water and salt, so you panic or give up.
- Crash deficits cost muscle and strength — and the weight comes back.
- Nobody tells you whether you’ve actually plateaued or just had a salty dinner.

Questions
Why don’t you just use my weigh-in?
A single weigh-in can move a kilo or more with water, salt and digestion. A 7-day average moves with fat. We coach from the average.
How fast will I lose weight?
You choose a pace between roughly 0.25% and 0.75% of bodyweight a week. Results vary, and we don’t promise a number; we show you your actual trend against the target.
Is the calorie target medical advice?
No. It’s an estimate from a standard formula to start from. If you have a medical condition, are pregnant, or have a history of disordered eating, talk to a professional before dieting.
Do I need an account before seeing my plan?
No. Answer the questions, see your actual generated plan, then create a free account if you want to save it.
How does it know what weight I should lift?
From your own logged sets, not from a model guessing. It uses double progression: you work up within your rep range at a fixed weight, and once every working set reaches the top of that range, the weight goes up by the right step for that lift. If a lift has not moved for three sessions it says so and suggests backing off.
Is this actually free? What’s the catch?
The free plan is a real, usable programme. You get a new plan and nutrition targets every month, guided workout mode with last session’s numbers filled in, the rest timer, automatic personal records and your full logbook — free, permanently. Premium works out what to lift next and why, charts trends, adapts your plan from your log, and adds the AI coach.
Is this medical advice?
No. Plans and targets are general fitness guidance. If you have a medical condition, an injury, are pregnant, or have a history of disordered eating, talk to a qualified professional before starting.
What happens to my data?
